Intuitive eating is built on the truth that we’re all born knowing how to eat. I know you might not feel like this is true now. It’s common that as we grow up, we lose touch with our innate wisdom about how to eat, but you can get it back! This is a journey of reconnecting with things you ALREADY KNOW.

You do not need to feel guilty about eating - ever...
Why do we all feel guilty about eating?! We’re influenced by the culture we live in - toxic diet culture, if you grew up anywhere like I did! We subconsciously learn rules about food. We’re taught to fear it, and see our bodies as flawed. We start to mistrust our bodies and we ignore or override our internal cues.

There is nothing healthy about obsessing over food and hating your body...
I believe that health includes having a healthy relationship with food and body. All bodies deserve dignity, respect, care and nourishment. I reject the idea that health comes in a ‘size’ or a certain way of eating. You do not need to buy into diet culture’s messages about what health looks like.

You already have all the wisdom you need to be the expert of your body.
Wouldn’t it be a relief to stop worrying about food?
Wouldn’t it be amazing to feel free in your body and stop obsessing over how you look?

1-1 Counselling
What’s Included?

We’ll have weekly counselling sessions via Zoom. The sessions will be 60-90 minutes. We’ll work together to find a regular time slot that works for you.

You’ll receive unique and personalised session notes and reflection questions from me after each counselling call.
The notes will include what was discussed in each session to help you reflect in your own time.
The notes will also include ‘homework tasks’ and experiments to do in between sessions. These tasks are designed to help you to reconnect with your inner intuitive eater.

You’ll be able to contact me in between sessions with questions, reflections or updates.

As part of the counselling process, you will be given weekly content to absorb and reflect on. This could be something to read, watch or listen to (created by me or somebody I respect in the field of Intuitive Eating).
The content will help you reflect on your relationship with food and body, teach you some surprising science about your body and nutrition, and guide you through some tasks and experiments that facilitate experiential learning, so you can feel things in your own body.
Absorbing this content in your own time means we don’t need to spend our calls with me delivering information, so we can focus on you and your personal journey and reflections.

This will be different for every person, so it’s impossible to say how long this might take for you.
What I can say is that this is a complete paradigm shift.
What you’ll be learning here is probably different to anything else you’ve ever been told or taught about food, your body and possibly health in general.
This might mean questioning things that you have always assumed are facts.
The process also involves embodied learning experiences. You will be given mini tasks and experiments to complete at home so you can experience things in your own body.
This can take time, but the journey back to your inner intuitive eater gives you lifelong freedom!
You can book as many sessions as you feel like you need at a sessional rate, but I do offer discounts for booking 6 or 12 sessions at once.
